Wines (Curico Valley)
Viña Valdivieso dates back to 1879 when Alberto Valdivieso
founded Champagne Valdivieso, the first company in Chile
and South America to make sparkling wine. More than
a hundred years later in the late 1980s, the company
expanded in a new direction when it began commercial
production of still wines, as Viña Valdivieso, in the
Curicó Valley winery in Lontué. Valdivieso wines have
since had a very successful career, triumphing in major
world markets and achieving the highest honours in international
competitions. |

Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2006
Dark, intense wine with
ripe aromas of chassis and red fruits along with
hints of menthol, and well integrated oak spices.
Full bodied, with excellent structure and flavour
profile. A wine with a lot of character and body
-excellent for red meats.

Single Vineyard Reserve Merlot 2007
This complex wine is a result
of meticulous vineyard management. Exquisite fruit,
select French and American oak barrels, and artisan
winemaking. Soft and round with mature tannins
and a supple finish. Pumped up, with the plum
and currants giving it a lovely dose of dark toast,
which delivers some punch.

a powerful nose with blackberry currant and vanilla
aromas and flavours round with soft and velvety
tannins. Superb with cheese, roast beef and pork

Rich berry fruit aromas, blackberries, and sweet

Aromas and flavours of ripe plums, sweet spices
café, chocolate and delicate smoky notes. Palate
soft and smooth with ripe tannins giving good
length and structure.

Attractive yellow green
colour. Intense aromatic profile with citric flavours
of pineapples, lemon rind and grapefruit. Crisp
and full bodied, and a long sweet finish.

Attractive brilliant aspect,
with pale green tones. Lifted fragrant nose of
tropical fruits, with underlying typical grassy
Sauvignon Blanc aroma along with hints of figs
and a sweet vegetal note. Crisp and clean on the
palate with excellent fruit
